Written by Crystal J. Jones

After the implementation of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act there's been a lot of speculation about how it may affect the rate of uninsured population in the USA ever since it was signed by President Obama in 2010. Learn which of the States performed the worst post-reform figures in 2014.

While the average rate around the USA dropped dramatically to 13,4% (Gallup research), the difference of figures between States remains significantly big. Since the realization of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, States like Kentucky or Arkansas performed the impressive drop in number of residents without health insurance coverage.  However, the worst figures reach up to nearly 25% in Taxes followed by 21,5%  in Mississippi and 20,% in Louisiana. This huge gap widely debates and creates public hostility against PPACA.
